Ye Gods (And Little Fishes) was the first album I put out under my own name. In 2009 I moved on from The Boo Radleys, from bravecaptain, The Black Serpent Choir, all of them to become Martin Carr and that’s how it’s been since.

Mary made an appearance here on ‘Why you gotta bring me all this rain?’ too and does an amazing job on vocals.  We recorded at the Music Box studios in Cardiff.

It was a while from here until the next record, which was eventually The Breaks in 2014.
